MANNING. Manning known for its "Beauty and Hospitality", is the county seat
of Clarendon County, located on the north shore of beautiful Lake Marion. Its population is diverse, with all the
conveniences a small town has to offer. While there are no large malls, there is a Wal-Mart, several grocery stores
(Bi-Lo, IGA, Piggly Wiggly), pharmacies, a department store, and downtown parking to access all the Main Street shops.
Manning is located in Clarendon County School District 2. Main highways are: SC 261, 260, 301 and I-95 Exits 119
and 115.
SUMMERTON. The quaint Town of Summerton is located south of Manning, off of
Interstate 95 Exits 108 and 102. Though Summerton covers many miles, the downtown area is small, warm and inviting.
There are some very exciting development plans for the Lake Marion shore area in Summerton's near future. Main
highways are: SC 301, 15 and I-95.
SUMTER and SHAW AIR FORCE BASE. The busy City of Sumter and Shaw Air Force Base, located in Sumter County is growing rapidly. This area offers a large variety of retail establishments, restaurants,
parks and family entertainment.
